A great day at the @uniofleicester Celebrate Heritage event today. I was on the Archives and Special Collections stand showcasing a book of 18th and 19th century recipes. In focus was the so called 'Queen Cake': a currant cake spiced with mace and cinnamon. 1/2

Celebrating National Pi Day (3.14) in style! Today I've had the joy of hosting @juergenthebread (GBBO 2021) in the Science Kitchen @uniofleicester for (ofcourse) a pie making masterclass. We made a German Cider Apple Pie complete with a deep dive into the science behind it.
