ICYDK Forest is participating in @FILRetroPGF's retroactive funding initiative. They're making sure the the public goods contributors for $FIL don't go unrecognized!
We’re taking part in FIL-RetroPGF Round 3 with @FILRetroPGF! From clients to infrastructure, we’re supporting a more resilient, accessible, and verifiable @Filecoin with five core projects ⤵️

A sequencer with unilateral ordering can quietly exclude users. In an ideal world, there would be no censorship at all. But for now, the least we can do is offer alternate submission routes that bypass censoring operators... 👀 https://t.co/hqWPGSctqV

Sequencers are vital for Layer 2 rollups on Ethereum and beyond, but face risks from bugs, censorship, and stalls. Exploring modular sequencing can unlock safer, more scalable blockchain networks.

Sequencers keep most L2s running, but their designs aren't monolithic. The way they're designed determines what types of failures you should expect. That's why it's important to map failures early and build around the ones you're willing to accept. https://t.co/hqWPGSctqV

🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk. The malicious payload works

Running validators for a Bitcoin middleware network wasn’t something I expected this year. But @Torram_xyz is pushing Bitcoin infra in a direction that finally includes builders. Excited to see where this goes!
ChainSafe is joining the @Torram_xyz network 2.0 validator set 🟠 L1-anchored middleware on @Bitcoin with no bridges or wraps? Who said it couldn't be done? 👨🔬🧪⚡️ Validators online. Testnet 2.0 live. We’ll keep the rails steady while you build!

If you're not a Rust fan, you should be! this sort of effort helps me run @Filecoin nodes in my homelab on consumer hardware 🤓
Ever wondered how to tackle memory analysis in Rust? 🤔 Our latest blog post is a deep dive into the tools and techniques we used to profile and debug memory issues in the Forest @Filecoin node 🌲

Hopefully this helps teams make more intentional choices when designing their sequencers. Let us know what you think, we're happy to keep the discussion going!

Sequencers fail in a lot of different ways. They stall, they can censor transactions, and sometimes they just break quietly in the background. I wrote a blog looking at the different risks in sequencer design and how to think about the trade-offs 👇 https://t.co/hqWPGSctqV

All ChainSafe nodes have now been migrated from MEV-Boost to @Commit_Boost ‼️ Why the move? Commit-Boost lets us monitor validator performance in real time with @PrometheusIO + its modular design makes it ready for upgrades like pre-confirmations = less friction as @Ethereum

Running a @monad testnet-2 validator with @chainsafeth has been a blast. btw it isn't just fast - this is scalable and accessible decentralization. Nothing sharpens our infra like dancing with a spicy testnet 🔥🧪⚙️
ICYMI: We've been running a validator on @monad ’s Testnet-2. Parallel execution on consumer-grade hardware? That's a recipe for decentralized mass adoption. *Chefs kiss* 👨🍳💋 No overpriced CPUs. 10k TPS. 0.5s block times. 1s finality. Low gas. EVM compatible. ✨

This week I released filecoin-requests-builder - a tool that generates real JSON-RPC request payloads from the current @Filecoin chain state. Useful for benchmarks, tests, and keeping docs accurate. Built it because I needed it. Maybe you do too. 🧵 👉

We support EIP-7732 (EPBS) 😤 Simply put, EPBS improves how @Ethereum utilizes the slot and ensures timeliness of the blockchain data required for optimal liveness. For users, that means a more stable, more resilient network. Read more in our @lodestar_eth blog outlining our

Decentralization is not a silver bullet. It resists censorship, but also resists coordination, moderation, and trust at scale. Without strong incentive design or fallback mechanisms, it can backfire - not by enabling censorship, but by failing to prevent abuse or misinformation.
