I like where @Filecoin is going with Onchain Cloud. It’s taking us from "your data is securely stored" to "your data can be live, accessible, and part of a service you control on-chain.".

buildRequests generates ready-to-send JSON-RPC payloads for a wide range of Filecoin and Ethereum-compatible methods. You can pass the context returned by fetchRpcContext or provide it manually if you want full control or reproducibility. Example output 👇

There are 2 main functions in filecoin-requests-builder: fetchRpcContext(rpcUrl) and buildRequests(context). fetchRpcContext queries the latest on-chain state (addresses, tipset, miner ID, etc.) from the given node. Example output 👇

This week I released filecoin-requests-builder - a tool that generates real JSON-RPC request payloads from the current @Filecoin chain state. Useful for benchmarks, tests, and keeping docs accurate. Built it because I needed it. Maybe you do too. 🧵. 👉

This means @Filecoin is getting better docs, less friction, more reliable tooling. And most importantly clients teams will be able to keep evolving independently, while still speaking the same language.

Standardizing the API means better tools, too. As a part of this shift, the Forest team will be making their RPC Snapshot Testing Suite available to help teams check for compatibility through conformance testing.

It focuses on what builders actually use:.• State queries.• Miner ops.• Transactions.• Node management. A smaller, clearer set of methods = smoother dev experiences across the board.

Before this, building across implementations meant a lot of guesswork and sometimes even reverse engineering. FRC-0104 changes that with a clean, OpenRPC-based API everyone can align on.

Big news for the @Filecoin network. FRC-0104: The Common Node API, was approved!. This is a huge step toward stronger interoperability between clients like Forest and @lotus_web3. 🧵⤵️.
