New paper out today! We have a great new PM2.5 air pollution standard. But our US EPA monitoring network has crucial gaps. It may miss many places that exceed the new standard. More monitoring can help! w/ @YuzhouYWang @MarshallJulian https://t.co/x6zXBu9e38

(1) Mobile monitoring. We have several large mobile monitoring campaigns starting in late 2024, including CARB's exciting Statewide Mobile Monitoring Initiative to map air pollution in disadvantaged communities. And we have a snazzy new UC Berkeley mobile air quality lab.

Excited to share my latest work in ES&T Letters @EnvSciTech! We find that US air pollution monitoring network lacks adequate coverage, leaving millions of people unprotected under the stricter 2024 PM2.5 standard. With @joshapte and @MarshallJulian https://t.co/0R0mcxDvx8

Hear me out: maybe we don't do hydrogen passenger trains? "Because of delivery bottlenecks, the hydrogen train in the German state of Lower Saxony cannot operate as planned. Instead, five diesel trains currently service the line, while the hydrogen trains are shorter than usual

Germany has the first fleet of hydrogen-powered trains in the world. Too bad the operator is missing one essential thing to keep them running - hydrogen fuel.
