This is so incredibly misleading! As @VaughnPalmer, @RobShaw_BC, @FranYanor and many other members of the Press Gallery will recall, the Haida Agreement was NOT unanimously supported by all parties in the Legislature (and it was passed in May, not April). It was opposed by every

On Friday, the B.C. Supreme Court officially accepted B.C. and Canada’s historic agreements negotiated with the Council of the Haida Nation. In April 2024, all parties present in the Legislature unanimously supported the ‘Rising Tide’ legislation, rightly celebrated by all.

#BCNDP is again reaching into restaurant employers empty pockets because they can, because they believe the private sector is not worthy of support and they don’t really give a damn what #CRA has to say or what’s fair. @bcpoli #preditoryndp

🚨 Tipping Point? B.C. restaurants are already struggling with soaring costs. Now they're being hit with WorkSafeBC’s surprise tax on tips — with zero consultation and conflicting rules. Here’s what’s going on 👇 (1/7)

Tariffs are simply taxes. Conservatives once united against new taxes. Taxing trade will mean less trade and higher prices.

While the NDP continues to fail on healthcare, they have instead prioritized large severance payments to NDP political staffers and nickel and diming legal owners of short-term rental properties.

I still have the same phone number as a former MLA that I had before I was elected and throughout my time in office. Recently, I heard from a woman who last week was trying to book a mammography exam and was told not until September. This is totally unacceptable.

📊 Some takeaways from StatCan's December jobs numbers this morning: 52% of the jobs growth this December was in public sector positions. Year-over-year, BC has added 13,300 public sector employees, but lost 6,400 private sector and self-employment jobs. #bcpoli

“B.C. has experienced essentially zero net growth in private sector jobs for more than two years” A BCNDP jobs plan may not exist but their debt plan is exceeding expectations. Cherry-picked job numbers paint deceptive picture of B.C. economy https://t.co/CQNnSt8nfN via @BIVnews

SCOOP: BC's health authority board directors made $1,400/day (and sometimes much more) after a massive pay hike approved by the provincial government last year. The province OK's a 72% increase in annual retainers and 44% boost to daily meeting fees. https://t.co/LrxrIxGemg

As a grower I can say this PR has so little to do with the day to day challenges of most farmers in BC, it’s simply a joke. High energy$, land$, labour$, tax burden, one crop/season compared to subsidized global competition is the reality

@TranBC maintenance has suffered over the past 5 yrs and the especially vile Porta potti at the #HWY1 brake check in West Vancouver could be emblematic. It’s broken down and filthy and goes beyond with a stench that can gag. Truly not recommended. @bcpoli

Speaking deteriorating @TranBC⁩ maintenance. A popular cycling route along the busy Sea to Sky Highway in Pemberton has no fog lines and longitudinal cracks that can easily dump a bicycle or force them into the traffic. Unsafe at most speeds.

If the @bcndp's new aid package for apple farmers was an actual apple, it’d be a bruised, shrivelled- up, tiny red Spartan, full of holes and hanging limply off the tree, just waiting to fall with an ignominious little plop. My latest in @BeatNorthern: https://t.co/nkD9FVgceu

Humorous to watch @bcndp insiders and boughts still victory-lapping the end of bridge tolls (2017) and MSP premiums (2020). It’s now 2024 and they haven’t told the truth about the cost of Site C, Broadway Subway and the new Pattullo Bridge. #bcpoli

Ideologically driven panic over climate change driven desertification appears to be misplaced. “Rather than shriveling and dying, vegetation is usually growing faster and expanding its terrain, while deserts are retreating.” Cue the greening hysteria.

The greening of drylands threatens fragile desert ecosystems and scarce water reserves, and shows how varied and unexpected the impacts of global climate change can be.
