When Transportation Becomes Entertainment For over a century, travel was about getting from A to B. Efficiency ruled. Roads were built for speed, not joy. The driver’s seat was a place of vigilance - hands on the wheel, eyes on the road. But in the Age of Autonomy, that all

Wes wisely points out there are already vastly more chargers in the US than there will ever be gas stations. And landlords can get in on the action too to create a win-win for everyone involved.
We need to make level 2 charging at home ubiquitous. Easy for single family homes but multi-family needs more push. Developers, builders, and apartment owners (and even businesses) will hopefully see this is the way. Tesla Wall connector enables the owner to set the rate,

Holy moley, so Boring that no one saw this coming, it was underground. One day hundreds of thousands of Tesla vans will carry millions of people invisibly every day. What is the point? Any point to every point - wherever you are to wherever you want to go. The capacity of a

It is already clear that AI is accelerating science in many fields. Medicine for example is moving quickly. I quote another breakthrough below. And it is also clear that jobs are starting to be replaced by AI and soon it will be robots as well. although it will take some time
1/ And even more stunning news: UCLA scientists created a new radiotheranostic therapy - a single antibody that can *both* find and kill hard-to-treat tumors. By targeting LRRC15, it delivers radiation only where it’s needed — sparing healthy tissue and boosting immune response.

Nowhere left to pivot too as the value of human cognitive labour goes negative
I see re-skilling proposed as a solution to the potential of AI-driven changes to employment. Leaving aside the fact that re-skilling is tough to do well, I have heard less on what skills should people being taught for what jobs? “Working with AI” is not a full enough answer.

Wish me luck ! With a background in software engineering I am not the first to volunteer for speaking at live events. I have been on a you tube channel with Brain White at @FutureAZA talking technology like AI and robots a few times but... ... tonight we go live at 7pm UK

We measure output and call it progress. Then we wonder why margins thin. "The Last Economy" by @EMostaque is about measuring value and pricing to match.

Ray Kurzweil is the only person who predicted the AI revolution decades ago, almost to the year. A key figure in research as Director of Engineering at Google. When everyone dismissed his assumptions as crazy, he remained true to himself. And to this day, his books, such as his

… the market potential of world models could be nearly as large as the entire global economy.
FT: Elon Musk’s xAI is developing a technology known as “world models”, which are artificial intelligence (AI) systems capable of understanding and designing physical environments. To achieve this, xAI has hired former Nvidia specialists. These world models are considered a

Worrying news re UK EV grants. If the same happens in the UK neither new model would qualify.
@shortword @teslaeurope @TeslaOwnersDE Be glad they raised the now "premium" versions with 5K in the Netherlands. Prices used to be 40K and 46K. These where prices of yesterday. Now the prices of these variants are 46K and 51K. The TEMU version of Model 3 has the same price as the premium had yesterday. Not a good deal
