I share with a broken heart my dad passed away Friday, 29 years to the day he held me in the hospital after I was born. I feel lucky to call Michael Gentry my father, and I am proud to be his daughter. I look forward to carrying on his legacy by staying present and positive.

In December, I lost my dad. Now, I’ve lost my dog. I adopted Nessie from @IndyHumane when she was 10. Even with a hard past, she was there for me. And I was privileged to be there for her. If you’re considering adopting, especially a senior, do it. Nessie was a big blessing. ❤️
