#Huskers have new goal post pads ii honor of Dr. Pat Clare, who passed away on Sept. 30. He was a member of the Nebraska football team from 1958-1961, and served as the team physician for the Nebraska A.D. for 41 years. (Credit to @iKalebHenry for spotting the new pads.)

1961 Team captain, Dr. Pat Clare has passed away at the age of 84. Dr. Clare joined the Nebraska Athletic Medical Staff as Chief Orthopedic Surgeon. He held that position for 40 years and attended more than 500 Cornhusker football games before retiring in 2014.
