Gal at work has 2 10 month old identical twins and her husband thinks he put them in the wrong cots and they’re not sure which one is which 😐😂.

A prolonged wait for hip replacement, with friends or strangers describing it as heartbreaking. Which it is. NI has accepted a horrible "normal" wait of approx THREE TIMES this. This wouldn't be accepted anywhere else in UK. @mikenesbittni.
Advice please - patients, doctors, solicitors. My dad has been waiting for a hip replacement for 81 weeks. Started having a sore hip in March 2023 and promptly saw his GP. The XR showed severe osteoarthritis of his left hip. The GP could not refer directly to orthopaedics. 1/.

Ok. Anaesthetists. what is this? A double guedel? Why?!.My Dad did anaesthetics, ICU and chronic pain. This was with other medical things. I'm an anaesthetist. They don't come apart.

I have been repeatedly accused of orchestrating the embargo on Sevo in our hospital (field safety notice re vaporiser on Maquet Flow-i), in order to promote TIVA instead. No comment this time.

Our biggest problem here is less experienced TIVA users.selecting TIVA (makes sense!),.then a model they are familiar with (makes sense),.to then find the unfamiliar units of mg/kg/hr. at which point most anaesthetists turn it off, frustrated and discouraged. Most, not all.
