The government has AR-10 rifles with 20 round magazines to protect themselves from charging bears or wolf packs. Why would the government want to kill the most amount of bears in the least amount of time? Or… maybe… the rifles are excellent choices for hunters in Canada.
@CivilAdvantage1 @TWilsonOttawa @YukonStrong @ScottRCarpenter @Dicky_Paul_95 Can you tell me what make and model hunting rifle this BC conservation officer is using?

I asked law enforcement officials about Gary Anandasangaree's gun grab fiasco and a Liberal MP tried to shut me down. Good thing he failed, as the Toronto Police Association president then said the gun confiscation "will have zero impact on the crime in Toronto. Period."

In Ottawa, TPA President @TPACampbell made it clear: the federal gun buyback program will do nothing to reduce the violence we’re seeing in Toronto. Instead of spending millions on an ineffective program, we would encourage the federal government to reach out to @MayorOliviaChow

WATCH: @DaneLloydMP TORCHES🔥 Safety Minister @Gary_SRP and the gun 'buyback' scam. "Govt isn't seizing 'assault weapons' because law-abiding gun owners DON'T OWN ANY!"💯 Ukraine thought they were getting 🇨🇦 'Weapons of War,' but instead received Cabela's Christmas catalog! 🤣

IT'S A SCAM: MP @Kyleseeback asks why @Gary_SRP is continuing to push a program he knows won't work, especially when the @TPAca says "90% of guns used in gun crimes are illegal guns." "Are they going after that? No. They've come up with this $750M politically motivated scam." 🇨🇦

Liberals say we should listen to police... except when they don't agree with Liberals. @Taleeb, who's not listening to police now?
#BREAKING: Responding to @LarryBrockMP, Toronto Police Union President @TPACampbell says Carney's gun 'buyback' would have NO IMPACT on violent crime. "The [gun] violence we're seeing... is essentially, exclusively, a small number of gang members, thugs, using illegal firearms."

So much for Ottawa’s “weapons of war.” The government’s big plan to send confiscated Canadian rifles to Ukraine fizzled—turns out there was “extremely limited interest” from a country actually in a war. Maybe next time, they’ll check what’s being seized before selling fear.

@TWilsonOttawa @MarkJCarney It's pathetic that the public safety policy for 40,000,000 Canadians, including 2,500,000 licensed firearm owners is made by a couple of people holding up signs of firearms they don't like (that aren't used in crime in Canada, BTW), then advocate banning and confiscating them

For Nathalie Provost MP, the dream is almost realized—the culmination of her life’s work is just inches from her grasp. But then Gary Anandasangaree, with his careless words, stumbles into the scene and threatens to undo it all. @CanadasNFA
By giving gun owners some slack, the government once earned trust and compliance, knew where firearms were kept and used, improved public safety, and even collected tax revenue from a thriving industry. All of that is gone. Sacrificed to please one single zealot.

Canada: "We're going to seize weapons of war from our own public and give them to Ukraine so they can use them to defend themselves." Ukraine: "We can't use these. These aren't war weapons." Canada: "Well, fine, we'll seize them anyway."
"Ukrainians showed interest in an “extremely limited” number of firearms ... it became clear that a vast majority of these firearms did not meet NATO compliance standards." Somewhat undercuts the "dangerous weapons of war" line. https://t.co/PeT3TBc5VP
