Well everyone, cases are rapidly declining in the UK, so it appears that “Freedom Day” and the removal of mask mandates came at the literal peak. I don’t know if there’s a better way to indicate the complete and utter uselessness of masks and “public health measures” than this.

TL: DR: Math is hard - 50 out of 100,000 American adolescents have EVER been hospitalized for Covid. 200 out of 100,000 are hospitalized (or in the ER) in the week after getting vaccinated against Covid. 200>50
1/ UPDATE: @cdcgov’s own data show clearly the vaccine is more likely to get teens hospitalized than a #Covid infection. Here’s the math: 50 out of 100,000 adolescents were hospitalized for #Covid during the ENTIRE pandemic through April 2021. (Most had serious comorbidities.)
