At 15, I had a day off school every cycle due to my period pain. My GP told me I had a low pain threshold. 12 yrs of suffering later, I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Let’s not dismiss period pain any more, when time to diagnosis for endometriosis is on av 8 years!.
In light of this . I am reposting my thread about how we need to take Period pain MORE seriously not LESS. The solution is NOT to force girls in pain to attend school. The solution is to fucking address their pain so they don't lose days every month.
