people who take the "you can't outship solana" as a light hearted meme truly have no idea how hard blood boils in the higher echelon of ecosystem contributors. you quite literally can't outship solana in every single product development facet imaginable, it's just impossible.

this is a new paradigm where your tech choices have a wider impact than the end experience of your own product. the default should always be to try your hardest to stay, and if, for whatever reason, you can't, try to build a solution around it that stays as cohesive with the.

there's a world in which one yanks permissionlessness and trustlessness out of the equation and goes off building something without those constraints but tightly modeled around a future where the systems who thrived under those constraints can take you back and the migration.

branching out to your own L1 is a big decision, it can't be deprived of objective reasons why. unless those reasons are bad PR.

huge red flag when someone doesn't *at least* appreciate composability. if you're okay with more silos you don't have a lot to contribute to this space.
the corporations that we have been optimizing for (higher TPS, gen-purpose so everyone can use it etc) are going to be launching their own chain. we have optimized wrongly. the days of launching gen-purpose chains are over. use-case specific chains will win. and a million TPS.
