An ENT Surgeon lists the different coffee orders of 8 members of his team. 🔪 How do we respect this level of preference & choice in the way we treat our patients? ☢️ In particular, how do we identify & respond professionally to the diversity of emotional needs of Head & Neck

8 team members in my operating theatre all requesting a different kind of coffee! Strong latte, cappuccino, strong flat white, soy mocha, short macchiato, magic, soy cappuccino and piccolo. Next time I offer, the choice is BLACK or WHITE. Yes the order is on a tongue depressor.

Before he was a paramedic, Steven Tougher was our anaesthetic nurse. Kind, gentle, optimistic, warm. Our patients loved his cheeky grin. Our Wollongong community is numb, shocked, devastated. I can't believe it. Thinking of his family at this horrible time. Rest easy mate. xo

Important study on HCW staffing levels in UK including allied health and the impact on patient outcomes. 👇 Too often left out of the equation, #RespectAlliedHealth or patient care and mortality rates suffer. @VAHPA1 @VicGovDH #SpringSt #HealthCrisis h/t @RosalieBoyce
