Things i learned from @hmstaudacher today.🫘 soluble & insoluble are outdated fibre definitions - NOW solubility, viscosity and fermentability .🥔 resistant starch is not considered a prebiotic - it's a 'candidate'!.🥩 keto diets have ⬇️ impact on microbiome but ⬆️ on immune Fx

Great presentation today from Belinda Mason at today’s #NutrResCollab.🍌 potassium from food only increases serum K only ~0.2mmol/L (big deal!).🍌whole foods K less bioavailable than additives or supplements .‼️EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU KNOW ABOUT RENAL DIET IS WRONG.
