How diverse is protein localization to human primary cilia? Check our study revealing incredible cell-type and single-cell diversity: .3 year effort of studying 1935 proteins with imaging - 654 ciliary proteins pictured!.Tweetorial by @Prof_Lundberg & ⬇️.
I’m very excited to finally present something we’ve been working on for the past couple of years – a spatial proteome map of primary cilia, released in @ProteinAtlas today. Amazing teamwork led by @jn_hansen .Check out our preprint

Excited to share our first preprint from our project on an AI-assistant for microscopy! 🎉 This was such a fun collaboration on creating a resource of image-question pairs - not only useful for ML development but also for learning & testing biological image interpretation skills!.

Interesting for #Cilia researchers: SubCell discovered three types of characteristic cellular microtubule localization patterns in (non-ciliated) U2OS cells that relate to cilia proteins. You find a short paragraph on this observation at the end of the preprint 😃.
5/ Finally, we construct the first multiscale map of cellular proteome architecture directly learned from images, obtaining associations beyond what is possible with human eyes—such as proteome complexes—and distinguish dynamic and stable behaviors within cellular compartments.

Have a look at our latest advance in exploring (sub)cellular architecture from fluorescence microscopy images ⬇️.
I’m excited to share SubCell–a suite of vision #ML models for #microscopy to capture single-cell biology. 🌟SubCell provides deep, image-driven representations of cellular architecture across biological contexts & datasets. @ProteinAtlas @cziscience.
