On today's episode of "how govt ruins everything in healthcare" admitting a post CABG patient MCare payer, will be returning home next week after 4 nurse visits. Instead of the full payment we'll be penalized for short visits. Make it make sense

Maybe its time to bring out the graphs. I wrote about this many years ago. Share prices for United Health when the Affordable Care Act was passed +/- $32/share. Peak stock value 8/24 $524/share. AN INCREASE OF 1600%. This is what taxpayers i.e. me are paying for.

People believe the value of health insurance is that it negotiates a lower price and that you can access it. However, the cash price is lower, and insurance isn't helpful for non-catastrophic events.
