The greatest sport. A ride or die friend who was always in. No matter how dumb the idea, he was always the support who was there for you. I got to produce RIU: Werewolf Night on the Twitch channel and Goldy was always in cause he just loved us.

At a later RIU, we became solid friends after he made me the dumbest prop bet. Knock out my shit talking friend and I’ll buy you a pizza every day for 2 weeks. First hand back from break I get AK and the guy jams preflop. I call and he’s gone. PIZZA!!! Goldy had a cheese

I knew Goldy but he was cemented as one of the good ones at an early Run It Up event when he played a tag team event, made the final table and folded AK preflop after a long tank to someone’s bluff. His partner was so mad and everyone laughed and Goldy stood firm on his decision.

If you went to run it up reno, you met Goldy almost guaranteed. If you didn’t, you probably heard of him when he won a main event entry in 2022 while he was asleep. Goldy was the perfect person for that hilarious story. Goldy often found himself in spots that made his friends

My heart is broken. You don’t realize what you had until it’s taken away. Eric “Goldy” Goldstein is gone and we are worse without him. One of my favorite people in poker, a good friend for a decade, the goofy shit talking friend who you loved rivering. Gonna miss you so much.

I’m still cracking up at the scene I witnessed Walking out of Paris bathrooms I hear @FelipeMojave “Sir. Sir!”. Guy turns around . “Are you a poker player?”. “Yes”. “Come on man you gotta wash your hands!”. Thank you for doing this important work. This trend needs to catch on.
