As a singer in choirs, I was wondering what would happen to this church now the traffic has been diverted away - so wonderful to see pedestrianised, car-free space reclaimed in the centre of London, and a lovely venue brought back to life 🎵🎵🎵
What's happening at St Mary le Strand! A thread. Following a slow decline over the latter half of the 20th century, the church was treated incredibly badly. A simple Google search will show just how bad things got, particularly when the appalling Museum of the Bible appeared.
