Compassion has to have boundaries yes, but if it begins to discriminate, it is no longer compassion. It’s aligned with my latest concept, the ‘Redistribution of Empathy’ where we need to allocate more empathy to the richest 1%.🪡

Interestingly, my book, The Super-Helper Syndrome, also speaks about the danger of empathy in overdrive and pathological altruism. But my proposed solution is not to stop caring about others, but to simply start caring for yourself as well as you care for others. 🪡
