I often wonder why more people with #SevereME aren't offered AAC services when unable to speak. I know for many inability to look at a screen comes before inability to speak, but everybody has different combinations of impairments. We need more community knowledge of alternatives.
Gigi has her voice back Stephen Hawkins style and she wanted to say Hi and the Family want to say a huge thank you to and #NHSAngel #MEhero Kelly Frogbottom

Ironically - or perhaps fittingly? - I'm too sick to actually listen to this piece but there's an image-based transcript up too. I've love working with @AmbleSkuse when I've been well enough to do it, she does stuff with my words that is so creative and different!.

I wrote to my favourite audiobook narrator to ask if I could pay to have my short poem narrated … and instead he just sent me back a recording of it!. Huge thanks to @StefansEcho (and thanks for saying I could tweet about it too). And sleep well, everyone ❤️.

Sleep hygiene is a huge challenge when one is #bedridden. One of the things my #OT and I came up with to try was to invent a ritual/routine for start-of-sleeping time. So I wrote me a sleep poem….
