BYU fans like me are thriving in the NIL era. even when recruits don't pick BYU we win. i spent my life savings to send him to Tennessee and it was worth it. at first my kids cried when I said no more Christmas or house or food, but they cheered when I told them what it was for.

he publishes this for clicks and yet @Brett_McMurphy is one the more consistent offenders of under-rating teams like BYU and propping up Miami, FL, USC, LSU, etc. voters who know are high on BYU (as high as #8), but most just default to brand recognition and recruiting rankings.
The 25 most overrated & underrated teams based on @AP_Top25 poll in College Football Playoff era since 2014. USC edges Auburn & Texas A&M for most overrated “honors,” while BYU has been most nation’s underrated program.

BYU fans, stop tagging my cousin for getting BYU stats wrong. @ADavidHaleJoint will just untag himself as he's a stickler for the rules and his bio clearly says to contact him at david.hale@espn.com 😉.
I ranked all 136 teams into tiers. I immediately regret many choices but I won't know my biggest missteps until you read it and yell at me.
