Never forget that it was Steve Dembowski who revolutionized high school football in Massachusetts -- and certainly on the North Shore -- when he brought the spread offense to Swampscott in 2001. Congrats on Win No. 200, Dembo ... here's to many more!

Covered my first high school football game (Westwood at Ipswich) on September 15, 1990. That means today marks the start of my 34th year at The Salem News. Thousands of games covered, stories written and great people I’ve met along this wonderful journey. Thanks to you all.
