How ironic that Canada said there was no business case for Canadian oil and gas to Japan, Germany, Greece, and other nations, yet we're now trying to sell it to China—the nation our Prime Minister called our greatest security threat less than a year ago.

BC has 53 cities. So let's imagine that 8 of them (and not even the biggest ones) endorse a group called B.C. Cities ... and then Mark Carney meets with them and claims that he just consulted with "B.C. cities." That's what just happened with Coastal First Nations.
Said environmentalist group's ties to actual First Nations is that eight nations have members on its board of directors. How many actual First Nations are on the B.C. coast? Look for yourself: It's about 100.

Coastal First Nations is a foreign-funded NGO incorporated 25 years ago, not "time immemorial". It deliberately sounds like an Indian band or some sort of public entity. It's not: it's an anti-development extremist group controlled by leftist billionaires. But you knew that.
Coastal First Nations have stewarded the waters of the B.C. North Coast from time immemorial. Today I met with their leadership in Prince Rupert to talk about how we can work in partnership to strengthen marine conservation and ocean protection, and to build a stronger and more

I'll repeat this until it is accurately reported Coastal First Nations is a NGO - significantly funded by American environmental groups NOT a recognized First Nations or Tribal group.
Prime Minister Carney ahead of his meeting with Coastal First Nations: "Today is not a day for big announcements. It is a day for dialogue, for listening and working."

Bill C-11 is the worst censorship law Canada has ever seen, giving government control over what Canadians can see, say, and share online. But it’s so badly written that even two years later, the Liberals can’t figure out how to implement it. Courts are involved. The CRTC is

Canada had 20 years to integrate its God-given oil and natural gas with the U.S.—its closest ally—through projects like Keystone. Instead, it chose virtue signaling over national interest, punished its own producers, and normalized ~65% effective tax burdens. Now the U.S. will

The absolute craziest thing about this graph is that we don't know what kind of organization collected more than $229B over the past 14 years!
The federal government transferred nearly seven times the amount of money in 2024 than it did in 2010 to external organizations. The size of transfer programs peaked in 2019 at $145B.

From 2010 to 2023 the average income of a household increased from $96,900 to $111,600. An increase of 15.2%. This is less that half the rate of increase of their income tax burden which grew a whopping 41.4%

very important in companies. Keep the ones willing to "truth nuke" close. They are load bearing.
The reason it’s incredibly hard to break out of a “kind lie” doom loop is because the longer it’s gone on, the more unkindness is needed to get back on track. And the fact that you’re in this situation to begin with probably means your culture will hate that.

Meanwhile - approximately 200–250 oil tankers are expected to travel along the British Columbia (BC) coast in 2025, primarily carrying crude oil from Alaska's Valdez Marine Terminal to U.S. West Coast refineries.
David Eby just told Alberta they will never get a pipeline through B.C. Canadians will have to accept a lower standard of living and a higher cost for everything. https://t.co/6N9aCA0E4O

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PROVINCIAL DEBT NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN OUR DEBT-TO-GDP RATIOS EXPECIALLY WHEN COMPARING TO OTHER COUNTRIES. Canada’s decentralized fiscal structure significantly complicates international debt comparisons. Unlike unitary states such as France, Japan, or the
