That being said, I still think there are healthy rhythms (especially for our family) with going pure analog. My kids are into musical theater, writing, art, and music in large part because they fill their boredom with something other than a screen.

On the other hand I know not all screen time is the same. This is way different than everyone having their own handheld device for doomscrolling and the framing is thoughtful by making the screen interaction social.

Beautiful brand and product execution but the last thing families need in 2025 is another glowing device. Raising 4 kids and there are already challenges managing Apple devices for music and schoolwork and currently analog games offer a needed reprieve.
