No, I do not think that letting the President of the United States America sue the BBC - a publicly funded institution - for £1bn to £5bn is a good thing. Even if he doesn't win, or he does win anywhere near that, we will be the ones who have to pay for his latest tantrum.

Keir Starmer has spent months cosying up to Trump. If he can’t stop him attacking one of our most precious institutions and hitting millions of licence fee payers in the pocket, what was the point?

The RNLI answer distress calls. The Border Force brings in the boats. Either way, I personally think that letting *people* drown is a bad thing.

This would be from Danny Kruger, ̶C̶o̶n̶s̶e̶r̶v̶a̶t̶i̶v̶e̶ Reform MP for East Wiltshire who, at one point, stated that he did not agree “that women have an absolute right to bodily autonomy”. 🤬 Evangelical Christian Kruger, who was a staunch Tory his entire political career

Yes, it is. If you think transgender people ought to be excluded from public life, or that their participation in public life should have to be qualified, then yes you are transphobic.
@bencsmoke No it absolutely is not - either in logic or in British law.

A GB News presenter has said the BBC should hand “several million pounds” of licence-fee payers money to Donald Trump. We must defend our BBC from those who want to destroy it.

No, it's not, and historically it hasn't been either. You don't speak for the majority of us, you won't ever speak for the majority of us, and no matter how many likes you get on Twitter that will not change.
@HouseOfWalsh LGB is completely separate to TQ+.

Reform in Lancashire threatens closing five day centres and five care homes, with “reprovision” forcing disabled or older adults (including a 106-year-old) into alternative support. Worryingly, families told the Eye, the county councillor responsible co-owns a private care

Nothing to see here, just a GB News presenter suggesting the BBC bung Donald Trump a few million of licence fee payers' money.

Someone in Scotland has just as much right to talk about what happens in Westminster and elsewhere as much as we do. Personally, I can see why someone in Scotland would be worried about how Reform in Westminster could impact them via their fiscal ineptitude.
@JackJackOJackO @pericfcc I don't care what you in Scotland say, please leave English politics to us

Trans rights are human rights. They are not up for debate. Every single one of us deserves the right to feel safe in this country without the constant fear of discrimination or violence. Proud to have seconded this motion.🏳️⚧️

His family are incredibly asset rich, to the tune of £7 million, which is likely to generate them a significant passive income from letting. What's another £100k to them? #BBUK

His family bought 470 acres and 3 separate homes which they plan to use as short-term lets for £6.7 MILLION and this cunt is crying on TV because he is going to have to pay a reduced rate of inheritance tax in instalments over 10 years at some point in the future.

The time for delay and timidity is over. Ukraine needs our support now. @CalumMillerLD's bill would seize frozen Russian assets to rebuild Ukraine and support those defending freedom.
