Got a tip that ~400 asylum seekers crossed the US-Mx border east of Sasabe, AZ late last night. Last time Border Patrol was present was this 6am. People have been wet/freezing cold all day and BP hasn't returned.

Deportation flight to Cameroon seems like it will take place today.
Dozens of asylum seekers about to be sent back to a country that, last month, imprisoned and tortured deported asylum seekers.
ICE deported 57 Cameroonian asylum seekers last month.

Under the Biden administration’s return to expedited removal, if a family says that they’re seeking asylum and the Border Patrol agent doesn’t write that down—which happens far too often—the family will be immediately deported with virtually no opportunity to contest the error.
