Bigger news here, Schmidt was one of the best in 2027, stuff continued to tick up & will make the jump this summer to 2026. The ‘26 crop was already looking like a special one at the start of this summer & it just got stronger.

#Festivaler #11 to reach the MLB, 7th this year and 3rd for the Nats (4th overall for Washington). House was a 2x 14u @PGSelectFest, played as both a 13u (no 13u Fest) and 14u. One of the best on field both years.
The #Nats are calling up their No. 3 prospect, Brady House, for what would be his big league debut, per @JessicaCamerato's source. The 2021 first-rounder has an .873 OPS at Triple-A this season:

Why not add another #Festivaler to the MLB list? Up to 7 @PGSelectFest alum now appearing in the big leagues, 3 over the last with Lile joining Robert Hassell in Washington and Mick Abel out in Philly. The hit tool was as pure as they come at 14u & he hasn't stopped since.

What a debut indeed. I still remember the first time seeing Abel throw in the 2016 14u World Series. Couple weeks later we announced him as part of the West Squad on the 1st ever @PGSelectFest. Now, he’s the 5th #Festivaler to get the call to the MLB.
