I’m thrilled to share that @numeral has raised a $35M Series B, led by Mayfield, at a $350M valuation! Turns out, sales tax and VAT have gotten so complex that we need AI and millions of dollars in VC funding to make it simple again. This brings us to $57M in funding, including

I love that governments looked at marketplaces and said, “Yeah, we should all call these something completely different so nobody understands anything.” - In the U.S., you’re a Marketplace Facilitator. - In Canada, you turn into a Digital Platform Operator. - Australia promotes

Michael Jordan's 1991 championship triggered a tax that now costs athletes millions every year. Let me explain... June 1991. The Chicago Bulls just beat the LA Lakers in the Finals. MJ drops 30 points, wins his first championship, and gets named MVP. California's response?
