New contribution by the lab at @INABIO_EC ! My colleagues @JorgeBritoM @one_chiche found a treasure trove of new mammal species, tiny relatives of kangaroos, hidden in the Andes. They're ancient, secretive, and endemic. Now we can finally name them and work to protect them! 🧬

Resultado 4ta semana Junio lab @INABIO_EC con @EPNEcuador: 9 genomas de Bacillus thuringiensis secuenciados. Bacteria de valor económico para industria de biopesticidas y sector agrícola. N50 = 11330pb. Con esto, valoraremos potencial biotecnológico de este organismo en Ecuador.
