My son recovered from "treatment resistant" bipolar I with a ketogenic diet. This is hope. This is the future.

I'm honored to help raise awareness regarding the potential of ketogenic diets for mental health. Keep your eye on the emerging field of "metabolic psychiatry" -- fascinating and life-changing work is being done by many of my colleagues.

@janellison Congratulations! They’ve known for centuries that keto puts epilepsy in remission, it makes sense that it can also effect other disorders of the brain.

@janellison @GeorgiaEdeMD It is also the past because they were solving epilepsy with ketogenic diets in the 1920's. The link between "brain" issues and diet has been around. Unfortunately buried as there is no profit in solving issues through diet and fasting. Got to push the meds.
