Tired of Cursor overwriting key files hidden in big changes? Me too. So I built a thing to prevent AI from overwriting certain files. Check out Lockor. PRs and comments welcome! https://t.co/ekRujsg3WR

If we wanted to be really accurate, we'd posse up to all the Nativities across the Arch Diocese and just start stealing all the baby Jesus's. No followup. No record. No sign. No answers. Just gone. Maybe then they'd get it.
Baby Jesus is disappeared from Nativity scene—replaced with warning that "ICE was here." "Jesus was a refugee," said Rev. Stephen Josoma. "And if he were here today he would be deported." The Archdiocese of Boston has ordered him to remove the display—but he refuses to comply.

No offense to the 37Signals team… I just don’t get their design approach. Not Basecamp. Not Rails. Not HEY. Not Fizzy. I don’t think I’ve ever looked at the feature set of any of their products and thought… “Yes! that’s what I care about!” Some love it. Just not me. 🤷‍♂️
INTRODUCING FIZZY Have you noticed that every issue and idea tracking tool you loved slowly morphed into boring, sluggish, corporate bloatware? Trello put on 40 pounds of cruft. Jira started charging by the migraine. Asana tried to become everything to everyone. GitHub Issues

I chose the green door ninety-three days ago. At the time, it seemed obviously correct. Not even a close call. The red door offered two billion dollars immediately—a sum so large it would solve every material problem I'd ever face, fund any project I could imagine, and still

SaaS cost vs functionality: $10/mo - works flawlessly $100/mo - jank but saves your HR people a lot of time $1000/mo - barely usable. If you cancel it your sales department will quit en masse $10k/mo - only ever touched by the kinda smelly guy who insists on working solo in

Another terrible DHH take. I don’t buy a comp based on current capabilities, but the minimum capabilities I expect to need over the next 5yrs. Local models are mediocre today, but in 3yrs it’s very likely local models will be sufficient and safer than remote.
"Thus, I find it spurious to hear developers evaluate their next computer on the prospect of how well it's capable of running local models. Because they all suck! Whether one sucks a little less than the other doesn't really matter."
