At the time our library system was in disarray. Patricia was a calming and influential advocate who surely and steadily fought for the survival of our neighborhood libraries. "Still waters run deep" comes to mind when I think of her and her legacy of advocacy at that time.

Yesterday was a great day for Lincoln and all those working to address our state's housing crisis as housing leaders broke ground on an adaptive reuse project in an old mill that will create 124 units of housing. Walker Lofts - the site of the former Sayles Company Dye House -
A Lincoln mill that dates back to the 1840s but has sat vacant for several years is being transformed into more than 100 new mixed-use homes for Rhode Island residents.
