Met @razaq_saeed today a few months after graduation. Perfect example of grit and talent. Long/tough journey to neph fellowship @UAB_NRTC and now finishing up his IM residency (after finishing one in Pak years ago). Trainees like him make it all worth the effort!

2 of 2 Lots to learn. Aggressive pre dialysis education. Make it easy. Group training. Avoid unnecessary visits (they draw blood every 2 months, see patients based on acuity, once every 1-3 months). Strong reliance on nursing and protocols. (Nursing ratios are VERY different!)
