I cannot tell you how many times I cried because I compared myself to other journalists in my grade.
I thought because I wasn’t on a certain path that I was bound to fail. I am so happy with the journalism path I chose. Do not compare yourself to others!

When I was a freshman/sophomore I had a LOT of anxiety while reporting and was scared that I was too anxious to be a journalist.
I thought the only way to be a journalist was to be a reporter until I spent a few days at

1/ My internships have taken me to some super cool places. I’ve interned in London, Austin, DC and now SF.
People ask me how I’ve gotten to go to so many different places and gotten these internships. I have a few tips, but I’m not an expert.
