⚠️Reading enjoyment has fallen across all ages.⚠️ The sharpest decline is among pupils aged 11-14 - from 40.4% in 2023 to 30.7% in 2024. As children transition to secondary school, their reading engagement dips - a trend that is worsening. Learn more: https://t.co/e37pShJuF1

Fuel duty staying frozen and discounted for another year, at 10 x what it would have cost to keep the £2 bus fare cap. Make it make sense 🤦 #Budget2024

The cost of capping bus fares at £2 would have been tiny compared with keeping the fuel duty freeze. We should be incentivizing public transport which would help reduce carbon emissions - rather than continuing with this regressive fuel duty cut. #AutumnBudget
