Between working on the house, working on the motorhome, and just working in general, I’m pretty crap at getting down time. Luckily this little old dude often makes me stop and just chill out for a bit.

It’s the cost of access to market at larger/wider scale that did for most of these breweries as far as I can tell. The moment you need that extra volume you start having to play in a different market where prices are dictated at much lower value.

Seems like a poor take to me. The local trade is certainly not what did for the breweries listed in the article. It is tough for small breweries but it is particularly tough for those who expand into a space where they need wider distribution than their local area.

Turns out there’s a Temu version of everything now…
Iron Wharf, which has a 4% ABV and a ruby red tint, aims to deliver a well-balanced, silky-smooth finish. @ShepherdNeame

Delivered the last casks of Burton Ale into London today - there’s only one left in the cold store and it’s for this. My favourite of our beers so far this year will be pouring Friday from 4pm

Mate… you missed your chance for Putin to make you the guy. Just give up. No one wants to buy you wallpaper anymore.
When are we Europeans going to stop being scandalised about Donald Trump and start helping him to end this war? Of course Ukraine didn’t start the war. You might as well say that America attacked Japan at Pearl Harbor. Of course a country undergoing a violent invasion should

Waiting for the @ArrivaKent bus that never comes. @Visit_Gravesham @graveshambc @GraveshamForBiz my business suffers if this service is a bad as I’ve experienced today. If we want businesses like ours to stay & thrive in Gravesham we cannot endorse this terrible level of service

Slightly awkward tech bro celebrates right wing politically patsy win.
The infamous Hitler salute was one of the key visual symbols of Nazism. This salute, ingrained in history as a representation of oppression, dehumanization, violence, and unimaginable suffering and murder, is far more than a physical gesture; it’s a reminder of a dark era of

It doesn’t matter what it looked like. It’s what it said. It said, I don’t have to fear my fascist principals being out there anymore. I can be openly fascist and not worry about repercussions. And that’s exactly what we are seeing.

As someone who runs a business in Folkestone - this costs us a fortune every year. It’s absolutely shit show, a temporary measure that they have no plan to replace. Everyone avoids coastal trips whilst this on, understandably. And largely it creates chaos rather than solves it

Out for Christmas meal with friends. Popped into @TheCockTavernE8 on the way. Great to see Midnight on the bar (#bipacomeback ) and that the Cock Tavern is still the same wonderful place it’s always been. Worth the train ticket from Folkestone on its own.
