There are better ways to use batteries than putting them in premium E.V.s.

Every night Mr Nearly 5 insists I tell him a new @ReelBigFish story. At first I told stories using the songs as inspiration, but it has expanded to a whole universe. Fantasy tales where Aaron and Scott rescue Tavis, Westerns with Carlos and Ryland. There's a growing canon now.

When I think about the military (obscene budgets, drones killing civilians, not caring for vets, etc.), I get super pissed off. So I tried to reframe. We’ve already paid for their budget, we're not getting that money back. What’s something good we could ask them to do. Like this:

This is a great book. Filled with quotes and text you can use to drive useful and action-filled conversations. We can only do this together, as individuals sharing a common goal.

We must use our current systems to drive change. We have no other choice in the time we have. Businesses control our lives: what we eat, what we buy, what we watch and even who we vote for. Corporations have immense power and we must harness this to change the world.

What can we do? The book offers a few suggestions: 1. *Talk about climate change* 2. Put more vegetables in your diet 3. Switch energy suppliers to renewables 4. Make your home more efficient 5. Use cars less 6. Stop flying 7. Divest from fossil fuels (pensions and investments)

The fossil fuel industry receives $5.2t in subsidies. China leads ($1.4t), then the US ($649b), Russia ($551b), EU ($289b) and India ($209b). This is 6% of global GDP.

This could cost less with cost savings from improved health and an expanded green economy. By 2050 it will cost over 20% of global GDP.

I'm reading How to Save Our Planet (by Prof. Mark Maslin). It's about the #ClimateCrisis Some facts: In 2020 the world generated $88t - that's $88,000,000,000,000 - reflecting an average growth of 3.5% year on year. We can fix climate change now for 1% of that. That's $880bn

My soul got eaten and I only just noticed?! That could explain why my cats hate me. Or they could just be dicks.
#SundayFollow . One of these minions doesn't realise I ate their soul last night. @CowboyCentaur @ElnianRealms @inbedwithdaleks @GlitchyPotayto @MftZach . Now get out of my sight. [Inset Art by Sandara. https://t.co/k08ku464Mw]

I have scheduled a tweet tomorrow from a work account. It’s about @inbedwithdaleks it took SO MUCH WILLPOWER not to reference a certain pull quote from a review of his show.

As my Representative, @MichelleSteelCA I am asking you to support the impeachment of the President. I note you did not vote either way in the recent objections to the electoral count. This is your chance to stand up.
