All of this. Terms of Endearment is a great film, and Debra Winger gives one of the best performances of all-time in it.
Terms of Endearment: one of the best capturers of expressions in cinema - with formal dexterity that goes beyond writing, composing dramatic musicality in the edit in his own specific way, like Pialat or McCarey in theirs - with three of the most expressive actors of all time.
