We welcome Communications Minister @MRowlandMP's announcement to give greater powers to the @eSafetyOffice to ensure tech companies clamp down on child sexual abuse material on their platforms.

A new study by @UNSW and @JesuitSocialSer found 5% of Australian men reported having sexual feelings toward children and admitted to sexually offending children. They were 25 times more likely to hold views conducive to online child sex offending.

Forging a strong global response to the online sexual exploitation of children is integral in the fight for justice. We are encouraged by this joint statement, expressing @albomp and @potus' recommitment to tackling this crime through bilateral coordination.
