100%. I volunteered with Crisis Text Line a few years ago (should get back to doing it), and it's unbelievable how much suffering there is out there. That said, it's incredible what just being on the other end of a text or phone call can do for someone who's in pain.
We have lost too many people around this time of year to not say it: reach out to those you haven’t heard from in a while, ask them how they are really doing, grab a coffee a walk or a hike. Chances are, someone you know is in despair. It can make a difference.
