straws have been trampled on and broken in the process. spotify has made some recent changes to their platform that circumvent musicians rights to their copyrights and the monetisation of their works. it’s not even being done as a sneaky technicality, it’s just flagrant.

Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary." Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%? When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

I don’t think it’s controversial to say that anyone who works 40 hours a week should have enough money to buy a house, go on a holiday each year, afford Christmas presents and be able to turn the heating on.

I think teachers are underpaid AND that people who work in Tesco deserve a liveable wage
26.4k a year for minimum wage 40 hours a week. Teaching salary is 30k a year to start with. So you’re telling me I have to go to university for 4 years to then start off on a salary 3.6k more than someone who works at Tesco? That makes sense…

Also just so we are clear: AI art is bad, whether you use it as a joke or not. It’s just bad. Please educate yourself on why AI usage is bad for communities and the environment. The resources are out there.

As the usage of it increases, I want it to be known that I directly oppose ANY music created by AI platforms such as Suno. A song is one of the most personal things you can make, and anyone who thinks that you can recreate that magic with no human input is, quite frankly, stupid.

Don’t even know what to say. It’s just bleak. The future is bleak.
Suno and Warner Music settle their dispute and sign a licensing deal, marking a significant step in AI-generated music. Under the deal, artists can approve AI-generated music as Suno rolls out updated models and integrates Warner’s Songkick platform.

Rachel Reeves boasts of the UK having "the lowest corporation tax in the G7". That's a mark of shame, not pride. We need to tax big business to rebuild Britain.

To distract from the Epstein debacle they are doing everything they can to make the lives of Americans worse. They do this every time, almost as if it's a punishment. Do you see the pattern yet?

As Zack Polanski says, if we'd had a Starmer government at the end of WW2, the NHS would never have been built. Starmer would have said it was too difficult, too expensive to create – and that the billionaires were against it.
Polanski smashes austerity: ‘No vision’ ‘Tough choices for those in poverty’ ‘Not for billionaires’ ‘Oil, gas & weapon companies protected’ ‘Water companies pump sewage into rivers & charge us’ ‘Trickle down economics has failed’ Zack has an alternative It begins with hope.

Genuine question if anyone could help me here. Why are over 65s exempt? Wouldn’t it make sense to encourage the most cash rich generation to invest in stocks and shares?

I love how this just like... reveals the problem, "delaying access to harmful content until they're 16" so they'll still be bombarded with harmful content at 16 and we haven't equipped them on how to deal with it or made the platforms moderate better.
