Thank you for supporting debt relief for the 800,000 Minnesotans that are drowning in student debt. The CRA resolution will wreak economic havoc – hurting educators, nurses, firefighters, & service members with $20 billion in reinstated debt.
Biden’s plan to forgive federal student loan debt will give millions of working families some financial relief. Unsurprisingly, Republicans want to stop it from happening. People shouldn’t have to shoulder insurmountable debt just for obtaining higher education.

Students spoke out, legislators listened, and now they have taken bold action to make college affordable.
The Minnesota House just passed this higher ed budget bill on a 69-62 vote. The Senate will take it up tomorrow and, if approved, the bill providing free college to students whose families make under $80k annually could be on Gov. Tim Walz's desk by the end of the week. #mnleg.

A historic day for young people! This will tear down barriers to young people voting.
NEW: Minnesota will soon join more than 20 states that automatically sign up eligible residents to vote. It's part of an expansive voting package that includes measures Democrats have been pushing for years but couldn't pass under divided government.
