it strikes me that while you'll probably do pretty well following such advice that is central cultural wisdom, suggestions directly from parents are probably even more useful since you're more biologically similar (tho sometimes you can tell when someone is just parroting memes.

the list of mundane life wisdom that my mom used to tell me and i hubristically refused to believe for many years but now acknowledge as true grows larger every year. examples:.- don't eat soon before bed or you'll sleep worse.- go for a walk after eating to avoid getting sleepy.

the reason I will never have a normal sleep schedule is because i too much enjoy entering into this place known as "the code hole" which can only be accessed between the hours of 1 and 5 am.

maybe i am ngmi because i just find this so delightful i am giggling like crazy.

i was in a cadet in the civilian auxiliary of the air force as a teenager and i got to fly a cessna and be better at pushups than most of my predominantly male peers (not actually that impressive, since the avg fitness was not high but i certainly felt cool at the time).

since retiring my dad has started a garage band called Foghorn Leghorn or something like that with some other older gentlemen and they play classic rock in local pubs for beer money. most quintessentially dad activity ever & i really love this for him.

the more i improve and enjoy my life the worse I feel about death, not better. I had hoped it would be otherwise but wtf, i really like being here! i don't want it to stop.
