current hardware testing labs are slow, archaic and stuck in the past - having been around for 200+ years. and as we head into a world where it becomes easier to will things into existence, verification becomes the crucial blocker. we are fixing this with @normalfactoryco

one of the more underrated methods of on-shoring manufacturing is to on-shore testing and certifications. if you're making physical products it's far easier to QA locally than send samples to China for months. this is a large hit and a strong signal for what's to come for local

Devin's annualized revenue grew from $1M in Sep 2024 to $73M ARR in Jun 2025 prior to Windsurf acquisition. Less than $20M net burn across lifetime of the company too. Very impressive.
