This event wouldn't have been possible without the amazing logistics, sponsorship, design, and demo teams who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a reality. It's been the honor of a lifetime to work alongside all of these incredible people.

It truly takes a village to pull off an event like this. We had over 20 dedicated volunteers on the AV team alone, working tirelessly to ensure everything was set up and ready on time. Immense gratitude to every single person who contributed!.

It's been an honor learning from him. Many nights, he'd stay up late sending detailed write-ups of the plan. Not only does he have immense knowledge, but he also takes the time to patiently explain and teach others, making sure everyone grows and learns from each project.

I got to work closely with @alexstratmoen to plan the production. It was overwhelming but exhilarating—I got to dive deep into wiring, lighting, audio, and timecoding. We even rented a console one weekend to program lights, geeking out over tech we never dreamed we'd get to use.

This felt like a lot in the moment but the symposium has always been about pushing our limits, learning new things, and giving incredibly talented people the chance to showcase their skills on a grand scale. Things don't always go as planned but that is part of the process.

The countdown timer started, but our audio was 30 seconds ahead. In panic, as the timer ended, we grabbed the scrubber and reset it to zero. The audience gasped—we thought we were done for. But we had no other option.

By showtime at 6:30 PM, the show file wasn't ready, tube lights weren't working, lobby speakers weren't live, and internet was still down. It's easy to get caught up on the things that don't work but the show must go on.

Around 4 PM, we were finally ready to test our setup. We fired up the console to test all our arena lights, and nothing. Maybe our setup was wrong, maybe RF interference, but there was no time left. The show was only hours away, and there was still so much to do.

The day began rough at 7 AM. My laptop with all our show files wouldn't turn on. But @brarsanmol wasn't ready to give up yet and miraculously revived it. Fortunately, we'd learned from the past and planned detailed docs for our team, ensuring progress even amidst the chaos.
