Without the Affordable Connectivity Program, millions of Americans like my guest to the #StateoftheUnion, Mr. Milton Perez, would be denied the low-cost, reliable broadband they’ve come to depend on. It’s up to Congress to protect these benefits for Americans & their families.

Unless Congress acts, the #ACP program will run out of money in April, disconnecting millions. Our blog post from @hfranklin93 has more details on #FundACP: https://t.co/0Ih89ysmVm

Nearly 23-million households will lose access to high-speed internet unless Congress invests more money in the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Access to telecom services is a human right and is critical in times of crisis. People literally die because they can’t call for help, and it’s important for Gazans to be able to tell their stories to the world. @POTUS it’s past time to call for an immediate ceasefire.
Telecommunications and internet have been cut off in Gaza, people who are injured can’t even call an ambulance. We must recognize our collective humanity and demand a #CeasefireNOW. The world is watching.

The Affordable Connectivity Program I helped create lowers the cost of high-speed internet access for more than 240,000 Nevada families. This program is so popular that funds are running out fast. That’s why I’m leading the charge to extend this vital program. 🛜

What a moment! With a fully functional @FCC finally in place, and with advocates in the room, the agency just announced that they're ready to tackle Title II to safeguard #NetNeutrality and broadband users. cc: @OTI @UCCMediaJustice @publicknowledge @ConsumerReports @CommonCause

It's not just summer that's winding down: If we don't act soon, funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program (#ACP) could run out too. Join @freepress in telling Congress that students and families need reliable, affordable internet. #OnlineForAll

It's #BackToSchool & back to session for Congress,⏲️to extend funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program #ACP. Without access to #broadband internet at🏠, low-income students fall behind their peers & into the #HomeworkGap. @freepress #ACP20Million

My colleague @hfranklin93 is out with an important piece on threats to the Affordable Connectivity Program, which helps connect over 20 million low income households to the internet. ACP will expire in the spring unless Congress renews funding. https://t.co/ukCiAcA71f

The 2 reasons I remain on this website: 1. Refreshing the Senate Cloakroom account to see if they're going to *finally* confirm a 5th FCC commissioner (i.e. do what I've asked and thereby ruin my upcoming planned PTO). 2. Getting free food from Chipotle during

There's a lot of blame to go around for why things happened the way they did, but Democrats' silence — especially when shit got really ugly — was (and is) unforgivable. They were relying on NGOs to do their work for them and for Gigi to take it with a smile on her face.

If you're wondering what happened with Gigi Sohn's nomination to the FCC, this is a good (if deeply upsetting) read.
I profiled Gigi Sohn, Biden's first pick for a third Democratic FCC commissioner. It's not just a story about Sohn, but really the history and politics that shaped American broadband. https://t.co/FvyJZVgIwe

Guess what day today is! Day 910 without a #FullyFunctionalFCC. Congratulations to all who celebrate. It would be super cool if @SenSchumer held a vote to confirm Anna Gomez and Commissioner Starks before the upcoming August recess.
We're cruising toward 900 days without a #FullyFunctionalFCC. Meanwhile, the cost of high-speed internet is through the roof, and the FCC has no authority to protect consumers if their ISP harms them. Enough is enough.

A grandstanding Ted Cruz resorts to his usual lies about #TitleII and #NetNeutrality in a breathless bid to hamstring an agency that's been hamstrung for years. via @hfranklin93

Cruz and his cronies were up to their old shenanigans during a Senate hearing on the nomination of Anna Gomez to fill the fifth and final seat at the agency.

Yesterday Ted Cruz and others kept the shenanigans rolling in an FCC hearing on the nomination of Anna Gomez & the renomination of Geoffrey Starks. As our blog post shows, #NetNeutrality is at stake.
