I went to the movie by myself and I noticed a young black man slip into the theater once they lowered the lights for the film. Immediately after the movie ended, he slipped out. I think about him sometimes and wonder what that movie meant to him.

As a PBS kid & documentary watcher, the irreparable damage this will cause to not just the next generation but to all of us is unmeasurable. Free publicly sourced knowledge, information, & education that served this nation for years will just no longer be a thing. All of it gone.

Daughters are no longer raised to be wives. They're raised to b people. And some people are really not okay with that. They're not being taught to sacrifice. Not being told that marriage is the finish line. They're questioning things. To society their freedom looks like defiance.
