We received a warm welcome by the @emergency_ngo team today as we toured the Regional Hospital for Paediatric Surgery in Entebbe. The hospital co-managed by @GovUganda provides free surgical services to children in #Uganda and in the region while serving as a teaching hospital.

As we honor #WorldMalariaDay today, remember that Malaria is preventable and curable.

Concluded a 2 day support supervision visit in Bukedi and Bugisu regions, today. The visit enabled us identify areas that require strengthening and immediate intervention as well as overall enhancement of service delivery especially in maternal and perinatal services.

The team at Mulago Hospital has pledged to take good care of the equipment but also ensure that people who don’t have the limbs get the services FREE of charge.

Between November- December 2020, 540 people were fitted with artificial limbs during a camp held at Mulago Hospital with support from IWA. We also appreciate the Indian NGO that donated this equipment to support our people.

Another exciting day for our population! The Indian Women Association(IWA) in Uganda today donated equipment for artificial limbs and mobility aids worth UGX 100 Million to improve lives of persons living with disabilities in Uganda.
