Well that caught me out. 🤣 I knew it was happening, I even opened the @octopus #saversessions page but totally forgot to opt in 🙄. I also forgot to charge my phone and set the schedule for the car charging last night. 🤪 #duh #tired #forgetful

@OctopusEnergy I'd do saversessions all year, but wouldn't save much in high solar times. I've got oct intelligent, so only on rubbish seg export rates 4.1p/kwh. But if I got better seg rates I'd happily export on demand. I'm aware of flux but InteliOct better for EV.

If everyone with a smart electricity meter in Great Britain joined something like #SavingSessions, we'd have over 1GW of flexibility. That's almost as much as powering up one of the UK’s major coal fired power stations (but without the emissions).

The results of 7 hours in the dark with @OctopusEnergy #saversessions I accept it’s not a huge amount but I’m pretty frugal (tight 😬) with my gas & electric anyway so wasn’t expecting to see a huge return BUT still worth opting in. (2 sessions we saved nothing at all).
